Hi ... how u doin friends?l

Recently as I was going to university I faced to a guy who seemed addicted according to his arms full of injections. Then he asked me for some money, he told me I have been assaulted and his wallet and all his money have been stolen, he told he wanted money as much as taxi's pay to somewhere in Shahriar. First I didn't really want to give him any but after so many insists he made I did. After that on my way I was thinking about what I had done. I was in doubt about my action. I thought that since he was addicted he would use that money for buying new drugs and it was my fault to help him to sink in addiction much more than before. I think I made a mistake.l

What do you think?l

It's so hard to judge these people and make a rational decision while facing them

I myself become sO emotional in these situations and don't want to be logical!

But other times, I'm sure that it's wrong to help them.

I remember once when I was walking in the street I faced a man who was running and asking people for help(in English) But no one could know what he was saying.

When I offered to help him, he said what Amu Saeid said that beggar had told him!:

He's been assaulted and needs money to go to the police.

I didn't help him! I just guided him to the police station which was near enough to walk to.

I felt so guilty that night and regretted not helping him.

But now I think I have made the right decision.

You know….i used to study English a lot… It was almost my whole life…. But as time passed …my mind just went blank…thanks to my lessons at high school
Accordingly working together could be rewarding…please try to activate this topic as the others

I has been started a practice to learn English. I watch English movies and I repeat after that.
I think it is useful for speaking and listening.
Some movies have bad things in them. Cartoons are better.
Also I think listening to English news can be useful.

I guess ordinaries are easier to talk about, so it couldn't be bad for the beginning.

I am back again from my vacancy
it was great


i agree with the idea of paria

i think talking about ordinary things would be much more easier for you because you dont need such a big vocabulary
but the problem is that many of you prefer writing this "ordinary" thing in a Persian topic as here in English


there for i have an other idea: l

we can think about writing for a certain time (for example 1 week)just in this topic instead in shabane roozi
we can make a list of those who want to participate in this project

this project is especially efficient in learning English because everybody now HAS to write his problems and issues here in English
with other words there is no escape just like in an ordinary English lessen


I also thought about an other project but first i have to speak with Soha ( i think this has been suggested by one of our members): l
to fully learn english we also have to practice SPEAKING in english
so here is my proposal:
we can meet in skype or massenger and speak in groups in english
but this is just a prototype and i have to think about it more....... l
