I haven't seen that documentary , but I think u got this cycle ( becoming a pros/titute in iran) wrong
it's not like that you think , it's totally different according to the things that i've read/heard/saw
the story normally begins with thing like escaping from home ,
a girl escapes frome home(for any reason) and then she founds herself alone in the street , and this is where the tragedy begins
in iran there are many charities , komite emdad is the biggest one of them , and there are many local ones and many good people who help their neighbors , friends , etc. who are having economic problems
the woman who need food for her children has a really different story with a woman who becomes pros/titute
this woman can ask help from those charities , or go to simple works like baking or cleaning other peoples houses and etc.
but the one who becomes prostit/tute in iran isn't normally such a person as much as I know
let's return to the story of that girl who has escaped from home.
we said that there are many charities in iran , but the truth is that she can't go to any of them , cause they ask for her name , for her family , and this way her family can find her !
so she faces lack of money
many of these girls become addicted after escaping (according to the stress and loneliness and other mental problems they got after escape)
many times they first become addicted and then they sell themselves for money (for both living and buying drugs) and this addiction guaranties that they would continue this job!
some other times they do s//e**x for any reasons (money, pleasure , etc.) and they become addicted by their employers! again to guaranty that they would continue their job...
this addiction is also common in pros/titutes in other countries!
hmmmmmm
why do this organizations call the families?l
I mean the girls escaped from home because they had problems there
and now the help organizations call the families and send the poor girls back home???
l
thats not the way to help this people(girls)l
and also on this case
the women were not born in this situation
as amirhossein said many of this p.r.*****tuds start this profession in a very young age
and many make a mistake:l
they get involved with
organized crime
many of this girls don't just work for themselves
they have someone , who force them to work
he protect them but also put them under
pressure
so if the girls don't work he beats them and sometimes (you won't believe me) they
threat the women to death
so they can't just exit the job
the
"employer" will follow her and punish her
he gets all their money and the girls get just a very little piece their money

It's obvious that their families won't give up their girls for nothing!
But the police can wear usual clothes and ask usual people about these girls like a man who wants to buy them. They should pretend that they're customers(is this word right here?!)
It is correct and want to pay for the girls just as every one does.
Then finding their place will be more probable
it is sad but the families really do give away their children
because they are deeply in dept
but thats not always the case
I heard 4 example about a girl who was taken away by her own aunt from her family in a village to work in Bombay
the family had NO idea what the girl really did in Bombay
her aunt sold the girl to a bordello
but the girl could escape from there
the lack of education in this countries is one of the main causes for this stories
and about the help organizations: this organizations actually do it like you said
they go in with normal cloths
but it is not so easy as you thik : this bordellos are run by criminal bands
this bands are very dangerous and if they find out that someone wants to take one of their p.rosti/tues they will make trouble
WORDS:
organized crime: تبهکاری سازمان یافته
pressure:فشار
threat:تهدید
employer:کارفرما
